Decktet games
In the beginning, I kept the rules to numerous Decktet games here on this site. When the Decktet Wiki was founded, this led to duplication and confusion. So I've stopped hosting games here.
There are Decktet games that range from the thinking optional to the brain burning, from the frivolous to the deliberate. Some of my current favourites are Quincunx, Chicane, and Magnate, but you should form your own opinions.
Here are some places to look if you are interested in exploring:
- The Decktet Book, a curated collection of games. It includes rules and strategy notes for dozens of games. The rules are playtested, editted, and presented neatly.
- The Decktet wiki, an omnibus catalog. It has entries for pretty much every known Decktet game. Anybody can add a game to the wiki and update the rules without delay, so it can be repository for the latest about everything. It includes rules for the best games alongside half-baked ideas and works in progress.
- The BGG Decktet games family, a scrap book assembled by strangers; it doesn't include everything, and the selections are somewhat eccentric. This is the list of every Decktet game in the Boardgame Geek database, which reflects the whims of BGG users (who must submit entries) and BGG moderators (who must approve them).
